The Queen Bitch herself, Barbara Hershey, will be heading to the set of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, to take on the role of the Queen of Hearts once more.
Hershey’s Queen originally debuted on Once Upon a Time as Regina’s mother, and the most deliciously evil villain this side of Storybrooke.
Hershey’s Queen will show up on the spin-off show sometime next spring; and will join other familiar names such as Keith David, Iggy Pop and Whoopi Goldberg.
Hershey’s career is a long and storied one. Some of her most notable work includes Hannah and Her Sisters (for which she was nominated for a BAFTA), as well as her role as one half of the dynamic duo of Hillary and CC (Bette Midler) in one of film’s greatest chick flicks, Beaches.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland airs on ABC, Thursdays at 8 PM.
