This month Bruce Weber, an American fashion photographer, participated in the Spring 2014 Barneys New York Campaign “Brothers, Sisters, Sons, & Daughters”, by taking photos of 17 transgender models.
Somehow, the photoshoot changed something in Weber, which can be noticed in his statement:
“I would say it’s a sitting that really changed the course of my life, in a way. Because, I don’t know, the older I get, I want to do photographs and make films about things that are going to make people think about things.”
Bruce has already done campaigns for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and other famous names, as well as worked for Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Elle, Life, Interview and Rolling Stone magazines.
Check out photos from the campaign, as well as a short film about it, below!
