The Twelfth Doctor is a few weeks away from his series debut and the BBC are keeping Whovians happy with a few recently released episode stills.
The first shows Twelve in his predecessors outfit, post regeneration and another features the Silurian detective Madame Vastra who will be joined by her partner Jenny and Strax the Sontaran to form the fan favourites the “Paternoster Gang”.
We also get a glimpse at Capaldi in a Victorian era suit, suggesting that perhaps this Doctor tries out lots of outfits before settling for the coat and boots combo he’s sporting in the series promos.
The final picture features Clara Oswald in period garb and the Doctor in yet another outfit!
The Victorian era series opener “Deep Breath” airs on August 23 on BBC One and in select cinemas.
