Pop5 Of The 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Bring on the fashion! Billboard’s music awards certainly calls for the very best some of these artists have to offer, Check out our Pop5!

My gosh, is it that time of year already? It seems like just yesterday we were toasting champagne and ringing in the new year. It can’t be time for the Billboard Music Awards again, can it?

Why yes, yes it is!

As we sing in artists both old and new, let’s look back at some of the best dressed of the 2014 BBMAs. Because everyone knows talent is 9/10s of the law, and the other tenth is the artists’ fashion sense!

Now, everyone has their own Top 5, and not everyone will agree with this list, but try to keep an open mind, and save the flaming until you finish reading. Yes? Yes. Here we go!

1. Carrie Underwood

First up, we have Carrie Underwood. Now, as a fan of hers from way back in the day–flashback to rocking out to Carnival Ride in high school sculpting class!–I can honestly say she is very talented. Her voice clicks, and her dress from last year’s award show complimented her so much! Normally, I am not a fan of bright colors, but Carrie wears it well, and rocks her hairdo to boot!

2.  Ke$ha

I liked her music back in high school (flashback to high school gym class!). It’s catchy and upbeat, and motivates you to move–both on the elliptical and on the dance floor. Her dress is beautiful, and the black and grey sheer mermaid style is very flattering.

3. Shania Twain

I love her music! I have since I was a kid. While it takes a little more life experience to understand some of her deeper songs, it does not take a fashionista to appreciate her dress! Classic black with a simple patterned shoulders and sleeves–very nice!

4. Lance Bass

It’s been a while since his time with our childhood boyband, N*SYNC, but Lance Bass has certainly made a name for himself since then. His suit and tie combo is very dapper, and goes perfectly with his updo!

5. Ricky Martin

This blast from our not so distant past showed the men of the BBMA red carpet how to keep it classy with a simple black and white tux.
