The Grammys are hitting it big this year, the Beatles are having a reunion! Well, the two living ones anyway.

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have officially been announced to perform at the 2014 Grammy Awards, marking the first time the two have played music on stage together since 2009 when they did a benefit concert for David Lynch.

As well as their performance, the two will also be accepting the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the band.

On top of that, the two are also being rumored to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman. The significance is related to the fact that Letterman films at the Ed Sullivan Theater, the very same place where The Beatles initially became vaulted into a national phenomenon in 1964.
