Lifetime has picked up a new fashion competition series: Under the Gunn. It will be hosted by none other than fashion consultant and Emmy winner Tim Gunn.
Under the Gunn will be a 13-episode series featuring Project Runway alums Nick Verreos, Mondo Guerra and Anya Ayoung-Chee as mentors of fifteen designers. Each mentor will manage and coach a team of designers.
The contestants will be judged by designer Rachel Roy, celebrity stylist Jen Rade and TV fashion correspondent and Marie Claire senior fashion editor Zanna Roberts Rassi.
The show is produced by The Weinstein Company and Bunim Murray Productions, the minds behind Project Runway.
The show will have Gunn challenging the fashion hopefuls and their mentors, as they show their ability to bring out the best on each of their designers.
Gunn will remain on Project Runway when it returns next year. His new show will be premiering on January 6th at 9pm on Lifetime.
