Mary Tyler Moore spent YEARS making us laugh, whether it be on The Dick Van Dyke Show or her own The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Now, the 77-year-old legendary actress is battling something very serious, and has been for many years.
Close friends and colleagues, Betty White and Dick Van Dyke, have opened up in a new interview about Mary’s battle with diabetes and how it’s affected her eyesight.
Betty says:
“Her eyesight is what the big problem is right now, she is almost beyond the point (of being able to see).” Dick Van Dyke added: “She’s really having a battle with it, I’m sorry to say.”
Mary was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 33.
