Who runs the biz? Beyonce. That’s right, what Queen Bey says goes, and Bey says no more album. Producer Diplo, who has been working on Beyonce’s upcoming fifth album, has revealed that the singer will be scrapping her latest record of new material. According to DigitalSpyBeyonce has cancelled her current version and is now starting a new collection of tracks from scratch.

“I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried…I think she scrapped the record,” Diplo told The Sun. “The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand new ideas,“ added the producer.  “I like to work from scratch, [but] sometimes I get called in to fix records.”

Diplo went on to unveil his current work on Katy Perry’s new album. He has been working on new material for the star who he says is “so confident and has a great voice.” “I always worry about making the pop tracks too weird, but then if people want a Diplo record they must know I’m going to be f**king weird,” he told The Sun.

Beyonce has yet to confirm the date of her fifth studio album, the release of which is expected to be later this year.
