The Time 100 Most Influential People of 2014 list has been revealed, with Beyoncé gracing the cover of their double issue dedicated to its honorees.
Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook and founder of LeanIn.org, speaks of Beyoncé, saying, “[She] doesn’t just sit at the table. She builds a better one. Today she sits at the head of the boardroom table at Parkwood Entertainment”.
It is fitting that Queen Bey will be showcased on newsstands this Friday, as this year’s list featured a record number of women: 41 to be exact. The list also features people born in six different continents, who range in age from 16 to 78.
President Barack Obama also makes his ninth appearance, tying the record for most times included with Oprah Winfrey.
Entertainers Seth Meyers, Miley Cyrus, Amy Adams, Pharrell Williams and Matthew McConaughey were also seen as worthy enough to be included in this year’s list.
Check out the full list over at Time‘s official website.
