We’ve all heard the phrase ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ a dozen times and it never fails to be ring true! Rapper Big Sean has come forward as a Gleek! He does have a reason to watch though as his new Fiance, Naya Rivera, stars on the show as sassy Cheerio turned New Yorker Santana Lopez. The rapper revealed in an interview with GQ that he recently sat down to catch up on the show which he refers to as “Gleekin Heavy.” (Side Note: I’m glad he coined a term for my Saturday night ritual.)
Big Sean does admit though, it’s not always his thing, “Some of the episodes are a little much for me, but I like how they touch on real issues that people can really relate to. And people can just relate to something and confide in it. I think it serves a great purpose in society.”
But would he ever consider a role on the show? Show creator Ryan Murphy doesn’t think so, but don’t rule it out! Murphy told E! News, “No! He would never do Glee,” After a pause he quickly amended his statement, “Maybe I’ll write something for him, though.”
