Bill O’Reilly Accused Of Domestic Violence Against Ex-Wife

Bill O’Reilly, the infamous “Fox News” anchor, is being accused of domestic violence against his ex-wife, the eye-witness being his 16 year-old daughter.

Professional loudmouth Bill O’Reilly has no problems accusing anyone and everyone of various reprehensible behaviors. Now the Fox News anchor is learning how it feels to be on the other side of the finger pointing, and the allegations against him are pretty serious.

Reports state that during the final rounds of the acrimonious custody dispute between O’Reilly and his ex, Maureen McPhilmy, the infamous talking head was accused of physically assaulting his former wife at their home in Manhasset, New York.

A forensic examiner testified that O’Reilly’s daughter claimed to have witnessed her father dragging her mother down a staircase by the neck. A specific date for the alleged incident was not given, but it most likely took place before the couple split in 2010. The daughter in question is now 16-years-old and made the claim within the last year.

O’Reilly responded to the reports with a statement reading:

“All allegations against me in these circumstances are 100% false. I am going to respect the court-mandated confidentiality put in place to protect my children and will not comment any further.”

The new charges are not the first O’Reilly has faced in the fallout of his split. In 2010, O’Reilly was accused of using his connections in the police department to harass his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, a Nassau County Police detective. He also hired a therapist that was supposed to be a neutral arbitrator in custody battles onto his personal payroll in the role of full-time nanny, seriously compromising the terms of the couple’s joint custody agreement.  The advocate of Christian morals also allegedly began a campaign to get his ex-wife excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

No criminal charges have been filed against O’Reilly regarding any of these accusations. Gawker reports, however, that there was enough evidence to convince the court that the political windbag was an unfit parent and a final judgement in the case awarded full custody of the former couple’s two minor children to Ms. McPhilmy. Since New York family court documents are sealed it is unclear if this is actually the case. For the sake of his children, let’s all hope so.
