BlissBliss Present The Video For Their Lee Dagger Remix Of “What’s Going On?”

Renee and Lang Bliss, AKA BlissBliss have, over the course of their career, managed to successfully merge their eclectic and varied music tastes and the many genres they like; rock, pop, jazz and R’n’B, and create as a result a sound and style that is uniquely theirs.

They’re also not afraid to experiment with their craft either and having seen their fan-base grow considerably when their single No Apology”, reached number 15 on the Billboard Dance Chart and go on to be remixed by no fewer than 8 DJ’s, BlissBliss are now set to keep said fanbase rather happy indeed with their latest track, a cover of the Marvin Gaye classic “What’s Going On?”, remixed by established and Grammy winning British DJ Lee Dagger.

The track, the video for which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere, is taken from the duo’s latest album titled ‘What’s Going On? Remixes’ which was released on May 8^th and created with the help of several top DJ’s and produces including Hex Hector and David Aude, resulting in 14 widely different and distinctive versions of the classic song.

Asked as to why, with so many songs available that they could have covered, they chose to record “What’s Going On?”, the pair said: “It represents for us both memories of fun and influential times on us as kids growing up, listening to amazing music. It was just one of those songs we had always wanted to do; a classic R’n’B tune with a wonderful melody and message. It’s a song and message that are relevant even right now and we think radio will love to hear it again, but with our female lead vocal twist on it.”

DJ Lee Dagger refers to the pair as “..a powerhouse duo of musical knowledge and charm,” adding: “I have had the pleasure of writing with them both in Nashville, along with the delight of remixing their wicked tracks. Their latest single is a silky cover of the Marvin Gaye classic. I have to say BlissBliss for me ‘Have got it going on’!”
