April 11th-13th marked the first weekend of the Coachella music and arts festival with artists ranging from OutKast to Muse. Bands rock the stage in Indio, California.
On the closing night of the first weekend of Coachella, the band Arcade fire closed the night with a special guest appearance by Blondie’s Debbie Harry. While promoting their new album, set to be released in mid-May, Harry joined the band as she shared vocals with Regine Chassagne on her song “Heart of Glass.” Their performance proved to be the crowd pleaser for the night!
Other Coachella performances included:
- Mary J. Blige with Guy and Howard Lawrence of Disclosure
- Beyonce joining her sister Solange on stage to dance
- Lorde
- Muse
- Capital Cities
- OutKast
- Landa Del Rey
- Justin Bieber also made a surprise appearance.
The first weekend of Coachella may be over, but the second weekend has even more in store for fans! The second weekend of Coachella starts April 18th and goes all the way to April 20th.
