James Bond is returning with a brand-new film, unofficially called Bond24, as it’s the 24th installment in the film series. With a special event held at Pinewood Studios in London, director Sam Mendes took the stage to reveal everything regarding the new Bond movie.
Starting off, Bond24 now has an official title and it’s Spectre. SPECTRE it is, everyone! Filming begins on Monday and is scheduled to take place in London’s Pinewood Studios, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier and Erfoud in Morocco, as well as Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee in Austria. Right before introducing the cast, the new car included in the film was revealed and it’s none other than the mind-blowing Aston Martin DB-10.
The cast of Spectre sees a lot of stars reprising their roles, while there’s also an interesting list of newcomers. Daniel Craig will once again be in the starring role of 007, while other returning actors include Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ralph Fiennes as M. The new ones on board include Andrew Scott as Denbigh, David Bautista as Mr Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and last but not least, Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.
The writing team behind Skyfall, John Logan, Neil Purvis and Rob Wade, will return to write the new script, while Dennis Gassner will be the production designer and Thomas Newman the composer. Alexander Witt will be responsible for second unit direction, with Chris Corlbould and Steve Begg paying duties of SFX Supervisor and VFX Supervisor respectively. Costumes will be designed by Jany Temime and Gary Powell will be in control of the sunts. Also on board are director of photography, Hoyte Van Hoytema, and editor, Lee Smith.
Spectre is expected to arrive in theater on November 6, 2015. Take a look at the first official teaser poster below.
