Ryan Murphy has announced a very exciting bit of news!
Adam Lambert, American Idol runner-up and pop-rock star, has joined the cast of Glee!
Ryan Murphy took his twitter to share the big news simply saying:
I am thrilled to announce that the super talented Adam Lambert is joining the cast of Glee this fall.

No word has been given on what role Lambert would play in the show yet.

Also joining Lambert’s character in the Glee family, according to TVLine, are three new female characters. One new female character will join the McKinley side, Ruby who is an African American student. The other two will join the New York cast. Their names will be Ryan and Julie. Ryan will have to sing and play the guitar. Julie, however, is just described as “cute and quirky”.
We can’t wait until Adam Lambert makes his Glee debut! He will join the ranks of guest stars that include Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ricky Martin, Gwenyth Paltrow and Neil Patrick Harris!
