Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White on the show, dropped a major hint in a May 2014 interview with CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield:
“Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything. Or say … you know.”
But, at the time it was just a tease. Now, it looks like the magic day will come. The horse’s mouth, program creator Vince Gilligan, told CNN that season six is on the way and that “it’s going to be epic and true to the fans that have followed the show so incessantly.”
In the interview, Gilligan credits a vivid dream of Bryan Cranston’s, in which his character had some unfinished business, as impetus for the decision. The dream involved a hospital bed and the DEA. Hmmm. Intriguing!
