My fifteen-year-old self is over joyed to read that the O.C’s Seth Cohen is engaged to the Gossip Girl ice queen herself, Blair Waldorf!!
Wonderwall was the first to break the news that Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are engaged! The relatively private couple has been dating for less than a year, and have been linked together since February.
Although the couple has been rather private, the two lovebirds were seen holding hands in NYC and have been photographed together while out in Los Angeles.
The two met while working on The Oranges in 2011, but did not become romantically involved until 2013. Prior to dating Brody, Leighton was linked to The Winter Solider’s Sebastian Stan, and Aaron Himelstein. Brody was also linked to Rachel Bilson, his co-star from the O.C. from 2003-2006, and more recently dated screenwriter Lorene Scafaria.
Meester has always been somewhat secretive about the men in her life, quoted as saying: “I haven’t been in a lot of relationships, but I’ve been in love. There’s an inexplicable chemistry. You just really, really want to, like, stare at the person. I’ve never fallen in love right off the bat. I get scared to say I love you too soon because it means to much. It means you’re not seeing an end to things.”
