After rumours of what Lady Gaga’s first single off ARTPOP would be surrounded the internet earlier this week, Lady Gaga has officially confirmed that “Applause” will be the single.
The announcement was done via Twitter on Sunday along with an official image.
Due to public anticipation ITUNES will now offer preorder for ARTPOP album/app AUG 19 the same day you can purchase my new single ‘Applause’

Earlier in the week rumours surrounded ‘Applause’ as the new single after Gaga’s make-up artist posted a photo with the title in it.
According to Digital Spy, Lady Gaga will perform ‘Applause’ at the MTV Video Music Awards.
ARTPOP will be released on November 11.
