If you have ever wanted to see what Bret Michaels would be like after an apocalypse, you will soon have the opportunity.
Entertainment Weekly has reported that Michaels will be appearing on NBC’s Revolution, where he will play a post-apocalyptic version of himself.
Michaels, who rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Poison, will be performing an acoustic version of his band’s song “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” As for which characters will be interacting with the singer, viewers will have to wait until the episode airs in 2014.
“Bret is truly a great guy. I’m a huge fan of his music and I’m thrilled he’s appearing on Revolution,” Eric Kripke said.
Revolution is a science fiction drama created by Kripke and produced by J.J. Abrams. The show, which debuted on September 17, 2012, takes place 15 years after a worldwide blackout. Last week, the show ended its fall season. January marks the return of the show with new episodes.
Revolution airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
