This day last year, Britney Spears appeared on Good Morning America, to announce that she had signed with Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for a two-year residency. A year later, Britney: Piece Of Me is going on strong and according to new reports, the pop princess is close to extending her residency for another couple of years.
Britney’s shows at the AXIS auditorium were originally planned to go on all the way through 2014 and 2015. Thanks to a lot of them being sold-out, an extension is now being discussed.
Actually, the deal is close to having the contracts signed! Her so-far successful run is a positive sign and since the songstress herself is happy with the current situation, another couple of years wouldn’t do her harm. Whether Britney’s show will remain the same for the next year, and the ones possibly coming still remains unknown.
Spears is currently busy with the launch of her lingerie and sleep wear collection, The Intimate Britney Spears. The entertainer recently launched the line at New York’s Fashion Week and is now heading to Europe to do the same. The pop princess will be returning on stage with her Britney: Piece Of Me show in October.
