The Canadian’s definitely have their fair share of musical talents, and 16 year old David Thibault is one of them.
The Quebec teen covered Elvis Presley’s Christmas hit, “Blue Christmas” on Montreal radio station CKOI last week and the video quickly went viral. The video racked up millions of views in just a matter of days. Those viewers included the eagle eyes of viral hit-finder Ellen DeGeneres.
Ellen invited the young singer to her show on Monday where he performed his eerily, fantastic rendition of the King’s Christmas tune. Following the performance Ellen surprised the teen with a pair of his own blue suede shoes and the trip of a lifetime to Graceland where he will not only stay, get an after-hours tour, but also perform during the Elvis Birthday Celebration in January!
