Carlos PenaVega Of Big Time Rush Debuts A Surprise Single

Carlos PenaVega of Big Time Rush fame has released his first solo single.

Late last night, with no warning, Carlos tweeted a link to the new song and its art with the hashtag “surprise!” Electrico is holding steady at #7 on the iTunes Latino singles chart and has Rushers everywhere quickly learning Spanish.

PenaVega, as well as James Maslow and Kendall Schmidt (both from BTR) have mentioned being in the studio this week. Kendall is working on new music for himself and Heffron Drive, his band with Dustin Belt, which the two were working on before Big Time Rush began. It is still unknown if Logan Henderson has been in the studio with his band mates.

Carlos has recently made headlines for marrying Alexa PenaVega in a gorgeous Mexican Riviera ceremony.

There is no word yet on a PenaVega (Carlos’s solo artist name) album or any new Big Time Rush music. BTR is currently in Texas for their World Tour that includes Mexico, Ecuador, and Chile.
