Pixar’s new upcoming movie, The Good Dinosaur, had a full-cast change after it was decided that the main character, Arlo, who was being voiced by Lucas Neff, needed to be voiced by a younger actor to highlight his age change during the film as he starts to become a man. The character is now being played by 13-year-old Raymond Ochoa.
Arlo also has three siblings who were going to be voiced by Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader, and Judy Greer but these characters have all been scrapped and merged into one character called Buck, who will now be Arlo’s only brother, voiced by Marcus Scribner.
With the release date less than six months away, this is a bold move from Pixar and will no doubt keep them working up until the last-minute.
Catch The Good Dinosaur in theatres November 25th, 2015.
