All you comedy lovers out there are in for a treat! CBS announced this week that they have ordered a full season for each of their three brand new comedies.
If you haven’t already, you might wanna check out The Crazy Ones, The Millers and Mom, as these babies could be around for a while yet! They all premiered last month with good enough ratings to warrant a back nine order from the popular cable network.
Photo Courtesy of CBSIn the official announcement, the President of CBS Entertainment, Nina Tassler stated: “We’re proud of CBS’s leadership position in comedy and excited to build on it with the back nine pick-ups of these three new comedies.”
“These series are creatively distinct, continue to improve each week and are led by strong showrunners, writing and production staffs, and feature amazingly talented casts.”
Great news for fans! But not every show was picked up… The CBS sitcom We Are Men had to be cancelled due to poor ratings since the premiere aired.
Mom comes from the creative Two and A Half Men mastermind, and managed to pull in 7.33m viewers for this week’s episode. It’s a great show once you get used to the laugh track. It took me a little while.

For any Brits out there, Mom has just got picked up by ITV2, and Comedy Central UK latched onto The Millers.
