The X Factor UK’s heart will go on! Celine Dion is set to pre-record a performance of her latest single for the ITV reality show, to be aired Sunday 10th November during the results show.
The X Factor has been massively struggling with ratings for it’s tenth season, and has been consistently beaten by BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing since this year’s competition kicked off in September. It’s no surprise, therefore, that producers are bringing out the big names in order to draw in a larger audience.
They really don’t come much bigger than Celine Dion! The singer, who has been in the business since 1980, has sold over 200 million albums worldwide, and has won multiple awards, which add up to a total of over 100. These include Grammys, Golden Globes, Academy Awards, amongst others, such as the prestigious World Music Awards’ ‘World Best Selling Female Recording Artist’.
Taylor Swift and previous X Factor winners Little Mix are due to perform on the singing competition this weekend, and the show featured a massive appearance by Lady Gaga last night.
