There is a hilarious contradiction here, isn’t there?
Uber-gorgeous Channing Tatum, who is currently working on Magic Mike XXL, aka the sequel to the raunchy male stripper movie he starred in with Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey a couple of years ago, has a fear of porcelain dolls.
I’m not kidding.
He won’t hesitate to strip down for any of his films, but put one of those children’s toys anywhere near him, and he cowers. It’s actually pretty cute.
Tatum dropped by The Ellen Show on Wednesday (September 10) to talk his latest project Book Of Life and, of course, DeGeneres had to take the opportunity to exploit his worst fear.
“Did something happen to you when you were a child? Did a porcelain doll fall on you when you were sleeping?” she asked.
“I just think they’re freaky! They have, like, real eyes and they look real…I just imagine when I walk by ’em, their heads turn with you the whole time,” Tatum explained. Then, after a brief pause, he caught on to DeGeneres’ devious plan. “Tell me you do not have a doll here.”
Of course, she did. Check out the hilarity as it unfolded below.
