New dad, Channing Tatum is keeping himself busy. The Magic Mike star is bringing burlesque to the small screen.
A&E is in talks with Tatum and his business partner Keith Kurtz to film a reality show chronicling the lives of the entertainers of his New Orleans burlesque club, Saints & Sinners. The project is currently in the pilot phase and will be an hour-long docuseries.
Tatum and Kurtz and both will serve as executive producers along with Charlie Corwin of Original Media. Located on Bourbon Street, Saints & Sinners is a bar and restaurant that opened in 2012 by Channing and Keith. According to their website the club offers “food, spirits, music, and a sinfully good time.” I mean that sounds like good television to me! No word yet if Tatum will appear in the series.
That’s not all that Channing has on his plate. In addition to signing on to start in Guillermo del Toro’s animated feature Book of Life, he and friend Nick Zano are producing an upcoming family comedy for CBS. If that’s not enough Tatum for you can catch him in upcoming films 22 Jump Street, Foxcatcher and Jupiter Ascending.
