Che’nelle has collaborated with lots of well-known artists and managed to score herself quite some hits in the Japanese music scene over the years. The songstress is now making a comeback and has released her brand-new single, titled “Fierce”, along with the accompanying lyric video.
Upbeat and fast-paced, the Closers-produced track serves as a badass dance-pop number with a stomping beat taking the lead. Che’nelle lays some sassy, electrifying vocals on top of the super-busy production, while she has her head-bitch-in-charge attitude on point for this one. With the bass geting bigger and bigger, there’s even a major post-chorus electronic breakdown on “Fierce”. Upon first listen, some repetitive “hey!” shouting and the whole “strut” thing on the chorus makes you think that the song would be the perfect catwalk anthem.
The songstress is quite of a household name in Japan with great achievements in her back catalog, while she’s managed to collaborate with the likes of David Guetta and Pitbull.
