After a much long wait, Cher’s fans can finally rejoice!
It was announced today that Cher will be performing the song “Woman’s World
”,
the first single from her upcoming and much anticipated new studio album in 12 years at the season finale of NBC’s highly-rated singing competition show The Voice.
This would be the diva’s first live TV performance in over a decade!
Warner Bros. Records would simultaneously release the single digitally on June 18th when fans can pre order the album on iTunes, Amazon or on her website www.cher.com
Cher is the only artist to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard pop charts in each of the last six decades.
Her multi-platinum Believe album, which sold 20 million copies, contained the single “Believe” selling 11 million copies.
The Voice is already NBC’s most popular show and we “Believe” the appearance of Cher at the finale would be one of television’s greatest moments!
