Some news is just too good to keep to yourself, right Cheryl?
British songstress and X Factor UK judge Cheryl Cole isn’t one to discuss her personal life with the public, but Cole wanted to set the record straight about her relationship with the French Restauranteur on her personal website and Instagram.
The pair were first linked romantically 3 months ago before they tied the knot on Monday, July 7th on the island of Mustique in front of only 4 guests, including Cheryl’s mother.
The change in marital status also comes with a couple name changes for the singer as she has legally changed her name to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, dropping her ex-husband’s last name according to The Independent. Cheryl also took to Twitter, changing her handle to @CherylOffical and tweeting,

You’ll also notice that her Instagram has changed to misscheryl.
Cole had previously been married to footballer Ashley Cole from 2006 to 2010 before they split due to “unreasonable behaviour.”
Cheryl will join Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Mel B behind the judges’ table when the X Factor UK returns for the next series.
