The person who said sharing is caring probably did not think that drugs would be the thing that’s shared on the school playground.
Authorities say that a 4-year-old girl from Selbyville, Delaware passed out packets of heroin, which she found while going through her mom’s backpack, to her classmates thinking that it was candy.
In the news release, police officials say that the girl’s mom let her use the backpack after hers was ruined by a family pet. The bag contained 249 bags, weighing at 3.7 grams. When the daycare providers noticed the children with the bags, they called the police.
The girl’s mother, 30-year-old Ashley Tull, now faces charges of maintaining a drug property and endangering the welfare of a child.
