Former SNL star, Chris Kattan, has taken to twitter to set the story straight. Kattan was arrested after suspicion of being under the influence, when he swerved slowly along a freeway in California, then crashed his car into a maintenance truck. Officers arrested Kattan at the scene.
Hours latter the A Night at the Roxbury star tweeted to assure fans he was doing okay and back home, after being released from custody.
He wrote, “Those concerned or just adding gossip: I’m fine, passed all tests, released without bail, have drivers license, cop offered to drive me home.”
Chris blamed his dazed and confused state on a long flight. He just got home off a 15 hour flight after touring the country.
Since it was his first offense, the Saturday Night Live star, who appeared regularly between 1996-2003, was released without bail, but he is scheduled to appear before a judge the first week in March.
