Chris Pratt Says Guardians Of The Galaxy Sequel’s Script Brought Him To Tears

Star Lord himself, Chris Pratt, says Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 script moved him to tears and that seeing the film will be like “Christmas morning” for fans!

Star Lord himself, Chris Pratt (who is  currently doing promotional tour for Jurassic World), was asked by Digital Spy if he has been told information on his character’s father! This follows the news of director James Gunn having completed  the first draft of the highly anticipating sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy

“I have,” Pratt replied.  ” I know everything. I can’t say….”

As well as knowing details about the script, Pratt has also admitted to knowing what will be on the film’s soundtrack. For obvious reasons, he doesn’t tell us much:

“All I can tell you, because I obviously, I’m not allowed to tell anybody anything, nor would I want to, because it would be a little bit like telling a kid what’s under the tree before Christmas morning. I would encourage people not to poke holes in the paper and peek. Allow yourself the Christmas morning. Don’t ruin it.”

And with good reason.

As those who have seen the first Guardians will remember, the soundtrack played a key role in the film with its classic ’70s tunes, and here’s to hoping that Awesome Mix Vol 2, will be just as memorable!

He also highly praised the director Gunn on his vision and what we can hopefully expect with the sequel, “His pitch, and his idea, legitimately put tears in my eyes,” Pratt said.  “It is so good. It’s so good. I cannot wait to get started on it, and I can’t wait for people to see what he’s going to pull off with this second movie. It’s going to be so big, and so good.”
