Christian Bale To NOT Be In “Justice League”! Who Will Take The Cape?

With Man of Steel open in theatres this weekend, there is speculation that a Justice League movie may be coming. There is also the obvious fact that Warner Bros. Studios wants Batman to be in it. Batman is, after all, the most popular caped crusader in the DC Universe thanks to Christopher Nolan.

However, David Goyer, who co-wrote Dark Night Rises and wrote Man of Steel says that Christian Bale will not be making an appearance. The Man of Steel director Zack Snyder said in an interview that “Bruce Wayne exists in his movie’s universe, but it would be a different Bruce Wayne from [Christopher Nolan’s] Dark Knight trilogy.”

Goyer also explains that any future movies based on DC characters are entirely dependent on opening weekend sales. “Warner Bros. has hopes that there will be more Man of Steel films, and that this will be the beginning of a shared universe. We could meet Batman, or Wonder Woman, or the Justice League in these movies. But they all hinge on box office reception.” In layman’s terms: if Man of Steel doesn’t meet their red line, there is a chance of no more DC Heroes© movies.

No matter what happens, superhero movies will always be available somewhere, somehow.
