Christina Aguilera tweeted a preview of her contribution to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack, earlier this week. She has joins Coldplay, The National, Imagine Dragons, The Weeknd, Patti Smith and Of Monsters And Men, who have also recorded songs for the album.
When tweeting, Aguilera said:
Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. "We Remain" is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike.

Aguilera’s song, We Remain, is a pop ballad that both encompasses the fire element that is so well known of our District 12 Tributes, and the emotions clearly present in the arena.
This is Aguilera’s first release since her 2012 album, Lotus, which provided us with the hit single Your Body.
The National’s song Lean, was initially named Dying isn’t Easy but was considered ‘too dark’ so it was changed. Lorde will be providing the only cover on the soundtrack, with her version of Tears for Fears Everybody Wants To Rule The World.
You can listen to Christina Aguilera’s 90 second preview of We Remain below, and Catching Fire will be released November 11th – just in case you haven’t already marked your calendar like the rest of us.
