Christine Baranski is headed back to The Big Bang Theory.
According to TVLine, Baranski will reprise her role as Leonard’s mother Beverly, in the October 10 episode.
The last time fans saw Leonard’s mum was in the shows season 5 premiere when she popped up via Skype to advise Leonard on his love triangle with Penny and Priya.
Christine currently appears in The Good Wife which films on the East Coast, and as a result, when Beverly makes her appearance on Big Bang, it will once again be via Skype.
No details have been made as to why Mummy Dearest will be stopping in, but as TVLine teases “It’s not clear what brings her back, but, given her special connection to Sheldon, one shouldn’t assume it’s her son she wants to see.”
The Big Bang Theory returns to CBS with its Season 7 premiere, Thursday, September 26 at 8pm ET.
