Confirmation: Colin Farrell Says He WILL Be On Season 2 Of ‘True Detective’

Let’s just hope Rachel can snag the other.

Speaking to the Sunday World, actor Colin Farrell has confirmed that he will in fact star in the 2nd season of HBO hit True Detective.

Colin said:

“I’m doing the second series. I’m so excited. I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot. I know very little about it, but we’re shooting in the environs of Los Angeles which is great. It means I get to stay at home and see the kids.”

There are currently still rumors that Rachel McAdams and Elisabeth Moss are vying for the role opposite him. HBO and a rep for Farrell didn’t respond to BuzzFeed for comments.
