Colin Trevorrow is going to be making Jurassic Park 4.  The director – whose other films include Safety Not Guaranteed – insists that he’s not doing it for the money, but to make a movie that will balance out the ones preceding it and potentially introduce new fans.
Trevorrow is hoping to please the fans with the upcoming sequel, but also draw in people who could care less about a fourth installment. He clearly is making this sequel because he is passionate about the series, saying that he wants to make a kick ass movie, not for the paycheck.

“This is not a paycheck gig for me and it’s not the movie that I’m making so I can make the movies that I really want to make. I actually want to make a kick-ass Jurassic Park movie,” he said in an interview with Bleeding Cool. ‘

It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a Jurassic Park 4 in the first place, and I want to make a movie for them too.”
There is also going to be a new bad-ass dinosaur, but we’ll have to wait a little longer for the revealing of its identity.
The film (which will be in 3D) is set to make its debut sometime in 2015.
