Comedian John Pinette Enters Rehab

According to several sources, comedian John Pinette has cancelled performances in Canada to seek drug-addiction treatment.

The news emerged following a statement from the venue’s spokesperson where they explained the reasons why the performance was called off. It was clearly stated he would be checking himself into treatment.
After Pinette underwent surgery earlier this year, the Ontario gaming resort Caesar’s Windsor issued a press release saying he had developed a reliance on his prescribed drugs.
He would be calling off his routines there to seek treatment.
The star took to Twitter to apologize for missing the shows last weekend, and to thank his followers for their support.
Pinette is widely known for his stand-up routines and his prominent role on Seinfeld’s finale almost 15 years ago.
