Comedy Central Releases Trevor Noah Promos

Comedy Central releases new The Daily Show promotional material featuring new host Trevor Noah!

The Daily Show won’t return until the end of September, but Comedy Central has released new promotional material to help fans with the wait. The show’s social media accounts have largely been quiet since Stewart’s departure, leaving a notable gap in satire news coverage. There was some activity earlier this week, however, giving fans something to enjoy while waiting for the show’s return.

New host Trevor Noah’s face has now replaced former host Jon Stewart’s on most of The Daily Show‘s social media accounts, including Facebook and twitter.

A new logo debuted on the show’s Facebook page, featuring updated graphics and the premiere date of September 28th.

The show also released a brief promotional video promising the “same chair, different ass” and giving a glimpse at the new set:

Stewart announced his intention to leave The Daily Show earlier this year, and hosted his last episode on August 6. After a lot of speculation, Noah was announced in May to be Stewart’s replacement on the popular satire show. The two shot a hilarious teaser video at the time:
