Hold on to your hats – or mickey mouse ears – folks! ‘Cause the Pop Princess and Hannah Montana herself are about to make waves.
Miley Cyrus has an album called Bangerz on the horizon and it looks like Britney Spears will be featured on it. Miley’s producer, Sean Garrett, released the info to VIBE last Thursday at the 2013 BMI R&B/ Hip-Hop Awards.
Describing the upcoming LP, Garrett claimed: “It’s fun exciting [music]. We got one with that Britney. Shoutout to my man Mike Will [Made It] but Mike Will, Miley and me just got in the studio and wanted to make it the biggest record possible.” He added, “It’s just a pleasure to be working with some icons like that.”
We love us some Britney and it looks like Miley does too! Maybe those Disney roots form a tighter bond than we thought?
Though Garrett has worked with Britney before on the song “Toy Soldier”, which appeared on 2007’s Blackout, we are sure we should expect something very different this time around.
Miley has made it clear that the album as a whole should follow her lead. “There’s definitely been times where I’ve had to fight for what I want on this record, but I think everyone is now starting to see that I had, like, a vision. I’m really excited about it.”
And so are we… Especially as Britters is now involved!
A snippet of the track leaked online earlier in the month, and it’s been getting everyone excited. Not to mention the other stars that are linked to the rest of the album. Ludacris, Pharell, Future and Big Sean are already slated to feature and rumour has it that Nicki Minaj is poised to make an appearance on there as well.
“It’s gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be single after single after single,” Miley teased on MTV.
