The first full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated Interstellar is now available online.
The clip gives us some background on the film’s basic plot, the need for an interstellar space voyage to save a famine-stricken Earth, and also shows the emotional drama between star Matthew McConaughey and his family as he prepares to make the journey.
McConaughey calls Interstellar the “most ambitious thing Christopher Nolan has ever done”.
That’s a bold statement, considering the scope and caliber of movies Nolan has brought us before, including The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, and Memento, but the trailer for Interstellar certainly points to another intelligent, visually epic, and emotionally-supercharged offering.
The film also stars Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, and Matt Damon.
Interstellar has a scheduled release date of November 7th, 2014.
