‘Constantine’ Might Move To SyFy As ‘Hellblazer’

NBC hasn’t renewed ‘Constantine’ just yet and might not even do so, but the show might move to SyFy as ‘Hellblazer’.

A lot of comics were adapted into television series this past year and DC’sHellblazer landed on NBC as Constantine. The channel’s poor decision to premiere the show late caused a production halt at 13 episodes and fans have been trying to get it renewed ever since, as its Friday night ratings have had their up and downs. As it seems, the series might not have been axed after all.

Let’s be honest here: Constantine might not have been a live-ratings killer, but a lot of people catch up with it on demand. The DC Comics series has also managed to get an amazing fanbase, following its news weekly. However, NBC has now announced a list of its renewed shows and unfortunately, it’s not one of them. According to new sources though, executives are currently considering to move the show over at SyFy and change the title to Hellblazer.

A recent marathon of Constantine that aired on SyFy performed significantly well, so it makes perfect sense. In addition to that, the Hellblazer rebrand and the network choice would allow reaching new extremes of darkness, something we all want to see. It’s all possible for the time being, as no official confirmation has been made public. If anything, we do hope that we get to see more of the demon slayer!
