Country/Pop Singer Rachel Potter To Play Album Release Show

Rachel Potter is set to release her album, Not So Black and White, at the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC.

Country/pop rising star Rachel Potter will be releasing her debut album, “Not So Black and White,” next week.

One of her most recent releases, “Jesus and Jezebel,” is a track that needs to be more widely-circulated than it is, especially in the world we live in. Inspired by her best friend, who came out to her when they were 18 years old, it tackles the chaotic and saddening divide between the church and homosexuality. It’s intensely honest against its upbeat rhythm, and a subject that would probably shock many country fans, but that’s a part of its appeal.

As for her most recent single, Somebody To Love, it’s much as the title appears–a pleading love song. Her earnest vocals soar over the piano, and I can only imagine that this would have the audience on their feet in no time when she performs it live.

Find out for yourself by attending her album release show on Monday (March 2) at the Rockwood Music Hall. It starts at 8:30 pm–ticket information is available here.

“Not So Black and White” will be available on Tuesday.
