But then, it is important to note that Twitter is not the largest social media site around. That title belongs to Facebook, which has over a billion users, compared to Twitter, which has nearly three hundred million.
So which celebrity reigns supreme over Facebook’s one billion users? It is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo!
The football star has so far gained 107,134,000 likes, edging out the previous number one, Colombian singer Shakira, who has 107,090,000. It is not really that big of a gap, so there is still a chance that Shakira may regain her crown.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not doing too bad on Twitter either, since he is the most followed athlete on the site. So far he has gained over 34 million followers.
Meanwhile, Twitter’s number one, Katy Perry, comes up to number nine on Facebook with 74 million likes.
