You know, maybe this girl’s open and honest demeanor has finally bitten her on the ass?
Jennifer Lawrence is at the center of a media frenzy right now, and it’s all thanks to an off the cuff “joke” she tossed out at a Cannes party.
Upon discovering Gravity director Alfonso Cuarón was present at the same party she was, the Oscar winning actress reportedly began screaming to get his attention. When she finally made her way over to him, Jennifer was overheard saying, “I broke out my rape scream for you!”
Well, now, Jennifer has come under fire for trivializing rape. Many are calling for an immediate apology from Jen, as media sources are calling her choice of words “bad taste.”
What do you guys think? Should Jen apologize or is this being blown up?
My personal opinion is that she SHOULD apologize because rape is NEVER something to joke about. No matter how she meant it.
