It’s that time of year when the networks announce returning shows along with the unfortunate batch of cancelled series. Earlier this week CW cancelled The Tomorrow People, The Carrie Diaries, and mid season show Star Crossed. Although it’s always sad to lose series, there was good news as CW renewed The 100, The Originals, Beauty and the Beast, as well as Hart of Dixie (though it had lower than average ratings it was expected for syndication purposes)
This makes all of CW’s shows decided upon with earlier season renewals for Supernatural, Arrow, Reign, and The Vampire Diaries. Next Week the CW up-fronts are expected to include the schedule for next season. Did your favorite series make the cut?
