French group Daft Punk have been announced as performers for the upcoming Grammy Awards on January 26.
Despite the phenomenal success the duo earned in the past year, the performance will be their first live appearance since the release of their last album Random Access Memories.
They are also said to be performing alongside Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams, who they collaborated with to produce their overplayed-because-it-was-so-darn-catchy tune, “Get Lucky.”
On top of all that excitement, they are also nominated for a whopping five Grammy awards.
These include Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group, Record of the Year, Best Dance/Electronica Album, and Best Engineered Non-Classical Album.
