Dane DeHaan is set to portray James Dean in the biopic, Life, alongside Robert Pattinson.
The movie tells the story of young, undiscovered James Dean and photographer Dennis Stock (Pattinson) who meet at a party. When Stock gets a job at Life magazine, he follows Dean to Los Angeles, New York and Indiana, photographing the up-and-comer.
Life will be directed by Anton Corbijn, and is set to being production in early 2014.
Both actors will be seen a lot in the movies this year, DeHaan and Daniel Radcliffe were in the Beat poem Kill Your Darlings, which was shown at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. He will also play Harry Osborn in the new The Amazing Spiderman sequel.
Pattinson has two movies of his own coming out; David Michod’s The Rover and David Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars.
