Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard Drops New Solo Track, “Physical”

Dawn Richard of Danity Kane is once again pushing her solo career forward and has now dropped a brand-new track, titled “Physical”.

Danity Kane’s glorious comeback unfortunately ended up in another disbandment. While Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex are currently joining their forces and working together, Dawn Richard has moved on all by herself and is launching her new solo era for the album Blackheart, with another new track now released.

The brand-new tune is titled “Physical” and finds the songstress obviously inspired by earlier eras in music. Heavy in synths and serving some serious disco vibes, the track perfectly indicates Dawn Richard’s sensual invitation to the dancefloor. It’s all vintage electronic and new-age groovy at the same time, with a repetitive chorus that is hard to resist. It ends up hitting quite harder and with some great vocals to go by, delivered with assistance from a few special effects. Sexy and danceable, all in one!

Right after kicking off the era with “Blow”, “Physical” arrives as the second offering we get to hear from Dawn Richard’s forthcoming, sophomore studio album, Blackheart. The record will not only serve as a follow-up to 2013’s Goldenheart, but also as the second album in her Heart trilogy. Give it a listen below.
